Materials and Methodology 
The discovery of new materials and techniques enables him to create unprecedented ways of expressions and his own artworks. 

He mainly uses papers. Newspapers and magazines are most preferred as those contain stories of the society and history. Thin papers with texts and photos are crumpled, shredded or torn. Even papers are twisted and spliced. Those processed papers become layers and shapes on the canvas. Various features of papers become rough matière. Texts and photos on papers create colors and shades of the art piece. 

Artworks – Short Story of Eternity  

■ Stone 
He finds eternal history and time from rocks and stones that are rolled, cracked or worn down by rain and wind for thousands of years. He expresses the history of nature, past times and numerous moments within the history through the Stone artworks. 

■ Layer – Wave
He discovers eternal time and spaces from the endless tides, mountains, different shapes of sand hills, etc. Those are irresistible, enormous forces and orders. 

■ Layer – from the Old Trees 
He sees eternal time as well as moments of life from the tree rings and wood grains.  
He believes that stones and layers are pieces of eternity. The artwork series of the Stone and the Layer are connected together in that he expressed the moment and fragment of life from eternity. Newspapers and magazines telling our lives turn into pieces of eternal time. 

Artist biography 
Mr. Jeon earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. He held several solo exhibitions and participated in about 300 group/selected exhibitions. He won a grand prize from the 15th Gangwon Grand Art Exhibition in 1987 and the Gangwon Award for Culture in 2000. He currently serves an adviser to the Gangwon Branch of Korean Fine Arts Association.
